The Hardhillock Bazadaise herd was started in 2006 by Ann Malcolm and her daughter, Ros, with the purchase of 2 in-calf cows. We are near Aberdeen in north east Scotland in an area renowned for beef rearing and finishing.

Our growing herd of pedigree Bazadaise cattle now comprises 10 cows & heifers. We also have Limousin and Whitebred Shorthorn cows and these are all crossed to the Bazadaise bull with pleasing results - see Photos page.
Our extensively managed herd, which is mainly spring calving, is outwintered on silage and hay with no additional feed. Last winter the herd did very well through temperatures down to -15deg C, with trees for shelter.
